Does our generation really have no sense of moral, value or respect towards one another? I've heard that the kids of this generation have become brutal, vicious animals that have no ambition to learn any more then how to pull a trigger or where to get the good stuff. Has the youth of this nation become so worthless?

My 2 cents: no. I don't think today's youth are worthless. I look around a classroom like ours and I think how lucky I am -- actually how lucky this nation is -- to have such vital, intelligent youth becoming engaged members of society. I look at the kids in my neighborhood -- the "hoods" that some of my neighbors report on our neighborhood watch listserv -- and see a bunch of teenagers being teenagers (looking for a place to be and to socialize). When I go by them and say "hi," they say hi back. I know that there are young people who are getting in trouble, plenty of them. But there are lots who aren't. And of the ones who do go wrong, I always wonder why. What circumstances did life hand this person and how might it have gone differently. Anyway... just musing...
I think it's our generation or our youth but I think thta it has been something that as alwasy been there. Maybe people are being to harsh on our eneration but what Greek mythology when young men went to war over the king's baby momma drama. So just because our's is a different form it is the same thing with guns
Think about!
