A smile from a 5th grader

Two days ago my family received a letter from my little cousin Hector. It was nothing special, just a greeting and a friendly update on his families past doings. He also asked how our family was doing. The whole time me and my mother were reading it, we had smiles on our faces. And I asked myself, "How can such a simple letter from a 5th grader make me and my mother so happy?" I was smiling because out of all the people he could of sent it to he sent it to our family. And he is a really sweat boy. Maybe if I sent a letter to everyone I knew, it might bring a smile to their face and a few moments of joy. What if I sent a letter to people in hospitals, just a little hello and that there are people out there wishing the best to them. HMM...what if's what if's.

Following My brick Road

I'm heading to motherhood with the wisdom of a preteen and the judgement of a self-centered college student. I'm going to CSUSB to recieve a degree in nursing to provide my family with a decent living and maybe soemone who knows how to treat an illness. I want to go to Europe just see what all the hype is about and maybe to have a little rendovous with a Greecian man. But I might just have to settle with heading to Amsterdam for a week and taking in all the Coffee Shops.

No Sense

Does our generation really have no sense of moral, value or respect towards one another? I've heard that the kids of this generation have become brutal, vicious animals that have no ambition to learn any more then how to pull a trigger or where to get the good stuff. Has the youth of this nation become so worthless?
